Pizza with Planners: Are Memphis Neighborhoods Safe for Walking & Biking?

BLDG Memphis (Build Live Develop Grow) hosts a conversation on pedestrian safety to be sure you're safe walking and biking in Memphis.

About this Event

BLDG Memphis hosts Pizza with Planners a VIRTUAL conversation to discuss keeping Memphis safe when walking and biking.

Over the last year, there have been pedestrian crashes outside of schools, grocery stores, and on major streets.

The daily quarantine routines of many Memphis families during the Covid-19 pandemic have included walking and biking their neighborhoods as Memphians have become active pedestrians of sidewalks, bike lanes, public streets and intersections.

However, in this car dependent city are we aware of best practices to be safe pedestrians and how are Memphis streets, intersections, and street lights designed to keep us safe?

Where is the PIZZA ?- During the conversation we will raffle off gift cards to local pizza businesses.
