The conceptual and mechanical ways our physical spaces and infrastructures—roads, transportation networks, public spaces, and neighborhoods—are built can be labyrinthine and complex. But these kinds of things affect our lives daily, so its important that people possess a level of understanding so they can productively participate in the process. We host a number of educational programs for people to learn about how “built environment” decisions are made and provide subject matter experts who can answer questions about issues that effect our neighborhoods.
In addition to our regular education and engagement programs, we are working on the Memphis 3.0 comprehensive plan as a community involvement partner, along with UrbanArt Commission.
